• Universal languages, supported by J.S.Bach - Simone Nguyen i.s.m. Cinemaximiliaan 

Universal Languages is een onderzoek waarin 6 performers samen met nieuwkomers klassieke muziek toegankelijk maken via beweging, zonder woorden. De muziek van J.S.Bach zal de toegangspoort zijn voor een collectieve visuele expressie van de deelnemers op het podium. De vraag die de uitdaging vormt hier: Hoe vertaal je barokke patronen in gebarentaal?

• Een vrouw die door het raam kijkt (voorlopige titel) - Paulien De hornois en Suzanne De Jeagher i.s.m. Kunstwerkplaats De zandberg

KASK studenten en kunstenaars Paulien en Suzanne creëren samen met twee kunstenaars van ‘De zandberg’ een ruimte om beeldend werk op een andere manier te tonen. Ze willen een instrument creëren waarmee de kunstenaar zijn/haar werk helder kan uitdrukken. De output wordt een decor van een tentoonstellingsruimte, een atelier voor de kunstenaar, een installatie of een combinatie hiervan.

• My home is your home - Klaartje Lambrechts i.s.m. Fedasil en Fameus/De Connectie

Participatieve fotografie kan op vele vlakken tegelijk werken. Klaartje zal via workshops fotografie samen met asielzoekers ruimte creëren waar ze hun eigen reis en hun identiteit kunnen visualiseren.

• Buurtgezichten - Hanna Hoebeke i.s.m. Manoeuvre 

In een open huis komt een heel divers publiek samen, waar wij geconfronteerd worden met de vooroordelen die we allen met ons meedragen. Met dit project wil Hanna samen met de deelnemers van Manoeuvre vooroordelen doorbreken en de schoonheid van diversiteit in de verf zetten, als tegengewicht voor de angst van het onbekende.

• Shelter - Isaak Duerinck i.s.m. Refuge - Opvanghuis Brussel 

Het Refuge/Opvanghuis in Brussel vangt LGBTQI+ jongeren op die vanwege hun geaardheid en/of genderidentiteit thuis niet welkom zijn. Samen met enkele masterstudenten van het conservatorium gaat muziektheatermaker Isaak Duerinck met hen in gesprek. Via muziek en woord wordt in deze wederzijdse uitwisseling gezocht naar een eigen stem. Love knows no gender!

• A ma chère arrière arrière petite fille - Liselore Vandeput i.s.m. Femma Wereldvrouwen vzw 

Dit project vertrekt vanuit de nood van verschillende vrouwen om verbonden te blijven met eerdere generaties van vrouwelijke familieleden. Onder de noemer van auditieve erfstukken adresseren 5 deelnemers de verhalen van hun mama’s en oma’s aan een imaginaire en toekomstige achter achter kleindochter.

• Geef me een ku(n)s(t) II - Ruben Laureys i.s.m. UPC KULeuven Campus Kortenberg

Ruben verenigt samen met mensen met een psychische kwetsbaarheid poëzie, muziek en kunst door verbinding met het “innerlijke kind” te maken.

• Hotel minneleed - Angelo Vercamp i.s.m. Cultuurkapel De Schaduw, OKRA Roeselare en WZC De Zilverberg 

Samen met een groep 65-plussers maakt de kunstenaar een voorstelling die start vanuit de vraag: “Wat betekent liefdesverdriet op latere leeftijd?” Een kwetsbare en actuele voorstelling over de meest pijnlijke vorm van liefde, vanuit het standpunt van senioren. Dit gaat over loslaten, eenzaamheid en de kracht om opnieuw te verbinden.

• Evocacion! - Ruth Mareen, Marie-Lou Debels i.s.m. vzw Hartekamp 

RAAS brengt Zuiderse ritmes mee naar het Hartekampfestival! Een unieke ervaring voor kinderen met een fysieke en mentale beperking. Stormen, zoeven en vliegen zijn drie synoniemen voor razen. RAAS staat voor een viool-gitaarduo dat wil verrassen: een klassiek duo met een hoek af! Met Evocación! wil RAAS samen met de Hartekampers het gevoel, de geur en de sfeer van de Zuid-Amerikaanse cultuur beleven.

• Big little man - Jana Pauwels, Rebecca Driesmans, Martijn Debondt i.s.m. PietersBar (Vzw Kompas) 

Jana Pauwels maakte een song over de kwetsbaarheid van mensen met een beperking. ‘Big little man’ gaat over haar 3 jaar oudere broer ‘Pavel’ die een beperking heeft. In samenwerking met de mensen van de PietersBar organiseren ze workshops waarbij het personeel artistiek werkt op beeld en muziek.

• Waardeloos goed - Juicy Ijsselmuiden i.s.m. vzw Wang, vzw Recht-op, Stedelijk Onderwijs Academie Deurne, Stedelijk Lyceum De Waterbaan en Samenwerkingsopbouw Buurtwerk Dinamo 

Leden van vzw Recht-op, studenten van Stedelijk Lyceum De Waterbaan en buurtbewoners van Buurtwerk Dinamo treffen elkaar in een artistiek experiment. Elke doelgroep onderzoekt op authentieke wijze (via tekst of beeld of ruimtelijke vorm) zaken die geen waarde hebben en wordt begeleid om een persoonlijk, artistiek antwoord te creëren. Via uitwisseling en ontmoeting bouwen de doelgroepen voort op elkaars werk, dat samen de tentoonstelling “Waardeloos goed” vormt.

• The search of silence - Richard R. He, Noriko Yakushiji, Sjors van der Mark i.s.m. Kwadraat en Blikfabriek

Een interdisciplinaire theater- en muziekvoorstelling over het effect van een traumatische ervaring op het menselijk individu. De voorstelling is tevens een gesprek over kwetsbaarheid met het publiek.

Jonge kunstenaars creëren in een communicatieproject samen met kwetsbare jongeren via een visuele taal informatie over hun rechten in moeilijke (thuis)situaties om zo een positief zelfbeeld en welzijn te vormen.

   2. ‘Geef me een ku(n)s(t)’

Poëzie, muziek en tekenkunst worden verenigd door drie jonge kunstenaars samen met de deelnemers van dagcentrum Maarten in UPC KULeuven Campus Kortenberg via thema's als verlies, verbinding en verandering.

   3. ‘Bouwen van een leemoven’

Ella Claessen, Toon Boeckmans en Laura Op ’t Eynde, LUCA School of Arts & KASK ism vzw Christoforusgemeenschap.

Via een participatief buurtproject willen de kunstenaars een belevingsplek creëren door een oven te bouwen met mensen uit de gemeenschap.  Het proces van samenkomen, ontmoeten, maken, leren en uitwisselen vormt tegelijk een nieuw ruimtelijk, sociaal en artistiek element dat fungeert als baken.

   4. ‘Meerminder’

Hoe haal je meer kwaliteit uit het leven door het met minder te doen? De Tartaren geven je antwoord op deze vraag in een reeks van korte filmpjes met een individuele, korte en krachtige vertelling gegoten in een unieke audiovisuele ervaring. Het geheel vertelt een groter verhaal over onze samenleving, haar systemen, de verhoudingen tussen mensen en de keuzes die ze maken.

   5. Zonder titel

Klaas De Baere, Maya Lafere en Chiara Daneels, LUCA School of Arts & KASK, School of Arts ism Kunstwerkplaats De Zandberg

Johan Vanderschelden en Klaas De Baere, Ashley Anjuin en Maya Lafere & Klaus Compagnie en Chiara Daneels vormen drie kunstenaar duo’s in een gelijkwaardige samenwerking tussen kunstenaars met diverse praktijken. Centraal staat de dialoog. Dit traject zal resulteren in een toonmoment in O.666 in Oostende met een expositieboek rond hun werkmethodieken.

   6. ‘Applying the cinematherapy in adolescent’s education’

Hadil Alramli, Nathalie Rbeiz, Dhiaa Biya en Lennert Van Asselbergh, LUCA School of Arts ism Darna, Childfocus, Emanuel Hiel en de gemeente van Schaarbeek

Een groep tieners wordt betrokken in een cinema-therapie project waardoor ze meer inzicht en nieuwe perspectieven zullen krijgen over hoe ze obstakels kunnen overwinnen die hen verhinderen om echt gelukkig te worden en te veranderen.

   7. TAMARIS-TAMAYA PORTRAITS’

Anna IZQUIERDO GILABERT, LUCA School of Arts ism TAMARIS & TAMAYA

Een fotografie en zelfportret project met de tieners van Tamaris-Tamaya, een Jeugd Centrum in Brussel. Op een collectieve, geleide maar autonome manier zullen de jongeren hun eigen portret maken. Via fotografische experimenteren reflecteren ze over identiteit, adolescentie en zelf-representatie.

   8. ‘Binnenin’

Xandry van den Besselaar en Anna Dupon, RITCS & Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen ism vzw KAOS

Tweemanscollectief VETO maakt audiokunst. ​Binnenin ​is deel van hun onderzoek naar de werkelijkheidsverschuiving van mensen met een psychische kwetsbaarheid. Door bij deze mensen ‘thuis’ te verblijven en hen te spreken willen ze inzicht krijgen in hun wereldperspectief.

   9. ‘Shaping the city’

Finlay Degrauwe, LUCA School of Arts ism vzw Toestand

Met dit project willen VZW Toestand en Finlay Degrauwe een platform creëren dat de eerste aanzet faciliteert naar het activeren van leegstaande ruimtes. Binnen dit project wordt er gewerkt rond de casus van Toestand International die in de zomer van 2021 een leegstaande ruimte wilt omvormen tot een ontmoetingsplek voor en door jongeren van verschillende achtergronden in Sarajevo.

   10. ‘Wool Works: Helping Hands’

Loeke Vanhoutteghem, School of Arts HoGent ism De Plantrekkerij, De Zuidpoort & Manoeuvre

In Gent leven mensen die een beetje warmte nodig hebben. In Gent grazen er ook schapen met een warme vacht. Wat als we de vuile wol van de schapen verwerken tot propere warme wol die de Gentste burgers kunnen gebruiken. Dit project is een zoektocht naar de afkomst van natuurlijke vezels die worden verwerkt en zo samen met vele handen een weefsel creëren tussen de omgeving en haar bewoners.

   11. ‘Karma’

Luckas De Groeve, Elle-Mieke Miseur en Dirk Banken, KASK & Conservatorium ism Het ScheldeOffensief

In Karma wordt non-verbaal of in een niet-bestaande taal uiting gegeven aan gevoelens binnen een theater-context met personen met een beperking.

   12. ‘Here and there’

Noémie SAINTANDRÉ, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen ism RodeKruis Opvangcentrum Linkeroever

Via muzikale workshops worden nieuwkomers uitgenodigd om liedjes en muzikale sferen te (her)creëren over verhalen en gevoelens die ze willen delen.

   13. ‘Studio 1 room/ Ik ben een kunstenaar’

Samen met jongeren in gemeenschapsinstellingen stellen wij de vraag ‘wie ben ik?.  Dit co creatief project over identiteit, maatschappelijke en artistieke expressie resulteert in een krant waarin gecommuniceerd wordt met de buitenwereld. 

   14. ‘Empowered Voices Mixxxtape’

Laura Oriol en Ikram Ettarrahi, KASK & Conservatorium ism UTSOPI

Empowered Voices Mixxxtape is een samenwerking met de organisatie UTSOPI om hun strijd voor de decriminalisering en destigmatisering van sekswerkers te ondersteunen. Het project wil sekswerkers een eigen kennis, taal en visuele representatie van hun empowerment geven door de creatie van een podcast/mixtape.

   15. 'The language of melodies’

Iratxe Ibaibarriaga, Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen ism Cherut

Dit project wil via muziek bruggen slaan tussen mensen met verschillende talen in een vrouwengemeenschap. Het co creatief koorgezelschap geeft op het einde van het project een benefietconcert.

Joan Somers Donnelly, KASK School of Arts ism Manoeuvre

Samen met deelnemers van Manoeuvre stelt de kunstenaar een Library of Things samen, een selectie van objecten die door middel van spel, exploratie en improvisatie geactiveerd worden. Doel is om  gesprekken zonder woorden te voeren over politiek en maatschappij.
